About Us

We’re a group of professionals spread across the world working on international expansion efforts.

We got started in 2018 when we were all working on new market expansion at our companies and kept facing challenges that come with operating in new markets, yet had nowhere to look when we needed an outside perspective or guidance on how to do do something. Anyone that has ever worked on new market expansion knows there are always a million questions! We realized there was a need for a group like ours and slowly started growing our membership.

Now, we represent a myriad of companies and industries, and bring a broad range of expertise across markets and different phases of market expansion and localization. Our members are leaders in strategy & operations, product, marketing, & localization.

We meet bi-monthly to discuss a pre-selected topic for the month. Topics range from where to expand next, to expansion into specific geographies, to designing go to market strategies, achieving the right level of product localization, global marketing, attaining buy in & alignment within your organization, among other things.

Over time, we’ve created a trusted network of peers we can collaborate with and lean on as we grow our respective businesses abroad. Our members are located in North & South America, Europe, and Asia.

Ana Sofia
Guzman

Ana Sofia Guzman is an independent consultant, advising early and mid stage companies on growth initiatives. Before becoming an independent consultant, Ana led targeted market expansion at Squarespace. Her work included overseeing market prioritization and selection, go-to-market strategy, competitive landscaping, user research, and performance tracking and reporting. She oversaw a cross-functional team across Product, Analytics, Marketing, Localization, Engineering, Customer Operations & Creative.

Ana has extensive experience in the tech space and in particular, in Saas and e-commerce. Her specialties are in market expansion, business development and helping companies design and implement strategies to support growth initiatives.

Ana holds an MBA from Columbia and a Bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University. She is originally from El Salvador, the place she calls home.

Robyn Larsen

Larsen

Robyn Larsen is a front-end developer, entrepreneur, and speaker. Robyn is also an active community member who advises numerous startups across multiple industries and frequently mentors women in tech and STEM. She focuses on scaling international UX marketing and localization efforts at Shopify.

Bianca
Martinelli

Bianca Martinelli is Senior Vice-President of Global Operations at Endeavor. The team is composed of Marketing, Product and People, each of them leading a piece of Endeavor’s brand, culture and data to strengthen value to key stakeholders. 
Bianca has also been VP of International Expansion at RD Station, a leading Digital Marketing & Sales Platform for SMBs in emerging markets. In this role, she was responsible for kickstarting and leading the company’s international expansion into Mexico, Colombia & Iberia. Prior to it, Bianca was VP of International Expansion at Endeavor for Latin America and Europe, having launched the organization in Italy, Spain, Peru and Ecuador.
Bianca holds a BA in Business Administration from FGV-EAESP in São Paulo-Brazil, with a specialization in International Management from Unniversità Commerciale Luigi Bocconi in Milan-Italy. She’s also a Kauffman Fellow, class 21.

Alexia Ohannessian

Strong evangelist of the remote work culture, Alexia is passionate about the digital industry, and in particular providing the best experience to users around the globe.

As employee #50 at Trello, she managed the translation of trello.com in 21 languages and took their Marketing efforts to 7 different countries including Brazil, France, Japan, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland.

Now, at Atlassian, she specializes in global Mobile marketing and has implemented successful multi-market campaigns with partners such as Apple, Google and Post-it Notes.

Cross-culture is part of Alexia's DNA as she is French, living in Brazil and working for US and Australian companies.
